About me

Oh...where to start. I've always had an affinity for nature and flowers from the time I was a young girl. I've worked and collaborated in the floral world since my first job at a floral studio as a co-op student in high school. I've had the opportunity to work with some lovely women and teachers who helped me broaden my design knowledge and develop my preferences. With over 30 years in the floral trade, I am still in awe of nature and its ability to inspire creativity.

I have always had a deep love and respect for nature, and this was only amplified when I moved to Southgate, ON. Here in the country is where I love to meander the fields and forest, foraging for nature's gifts.

Whether creating wedding florals, wreaths, botanical art, eco-dying silk scarves or any other creative venture, I keep my style uncontrived and natural. I love spending time in my large cutting garden. I am very drawn to the Constance Spry style of wild garden-style inspirations.

I want to share my experience with others who feel drawn to exploring their connection to nature.  During my workshops, I will encourage you to let go of your inner-perfectionist. I will encourage you to follow your instincts; to explore your own creativity without boundaries or edges.

In the words of Claude Monet:

I must have flowers always and always
